During the Golden State Warriors’ recent three-game win streak, Jonathan Kuminga has found a way to contribute off the bench. On Tuesday against the Dallas Mavericks, the former No. 7 overall pick continued his stretch of impressive play.
Kuminga helped spark Golden State’s comeback attempt on the way to a double-double effort. The G League Ignite product tallied a bench-high 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field with 10 boards, two assists and an assist in 26 minutes.

Jonathan Kuminga just completed one of the better halves of his young career. Bothered Luka Doncic in isolation, rebounded well, came weak side for a block, worked the baseline for cutting dunks. He was a +19 in 14 minutes. Here are a few highlights. pic.twitter.com/rKHGg28oxX

Kuminga also showed off his long-distance jumper. With the Warriors trailing with under three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Steph Curry kicked it out to the 20-year-old for an open look from beyond the arc. Kuminga knocked down the triple to cut the Mavericks’ lead to one point.
