Tale of the Tape: In two seasons under Chad Johnson, Mission Viejo only has two on-field losses (four wins were taken away due to forfeit last year). One was a playoff game against Mater Dei. The Diablos, ranked in the West Region, get another shot at the Monarchs one week after a 38-35 scare vs. Servite (Anaheim, California). Prior to that game, the defense had not given up more than 14 points in a single game this season. That unit will have to return to form, and quarterback Peter Costelli will have to be more efficient to take down the explosive Mater Dei offense and formidable defense.
