Despite a disappointing 2021 season, LSU is still projected to have a couple of players taken in the first few rounds of the 2022 NFL draft.
The main name to watch is Derek Stingley Jr., the cornerback who took the nation by storm with a dominant true freshman season in 2019. He’s been limited in the two years since then, but he’s still considered one of the draft’s better corners.
There’s also linebacker Damone Clark, the second-leading tackler in the nation (and top tackler in the SEC) this season. Clark isn’t likely to be a first-round pick, but he should hear his name called on Day 2.
Draft Wire’s Luke Easterling has once again updated his latest mock draft, and both prospects are slated to go in the first three rounds. Here’s where each ends up.
