Here’s what Tom Brady asked of the Buccaneers after signing

Different team. Same Brady.

Quarterback Tom Brady aced his interview with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to The Tampa Bay Times. And that was partially because he ended up interviewing coach Bruce Arians and general manager Jason Licht.

Brady humbled himself, sharing how much he admired Arians’ system and how much he’d enjoy operating it. Brady didn’t demand that Arians change the system — instead the 42-year-old quarterback promised to be an old dog ready to learn a new trick. In fact, Brady made almost no demands of Tampa. He, of course, wanted a fair salary and a group of good teammates. And after he signed his deal, Brady had just one request.

Here’s what he said, per the Tampa Bay Times:

Brady never asked for control of the offense. He knew that Arians, offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich, quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen and special assistant Tom Moore would collaborate with him on game plans. He didn’t ask for any specific players to join him. He didn’t even ask to wear No. 12, which for the moment belongs to Godwin.

In fact, there was only one request Brady had after he had signed: He wanted the phone numbers of all his new Bucs teammates.

Different team. Same Brady.
