Aaron Rodgers made his decision on Tuesday, opting to stay with the Green Bay Packers (with a massive contract extension) instead of retiring or asking for a trade.
Had the four-time NFL MVP asked for a trade, the Denver Broncos were believed to be his most likely destination. When Rodgers chose to remain with the Packers instead of join the Broncos, there were plenty of notable reactions on Twitter — including one from a Denver player.
Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy tweeted an emoji that seemed to clearly indicate he wasn’t happy about the news. To be clear, though, Jeudy didn’t specifically say what the emoji was in response to, but it’s easy to guess.

Jeudy was selected by the Broncos with the 15th overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft out of Alabama. Jeudy has shown flashes of brilliance over the last two years but is yet to have a true breakout season.
Jeudy has hauled in 90 receptions for 1,323 yards and three touchdowns in 26 career games (he was injured for seven games last year).
Denver’s quarterbacks certainly haven’t helped the wide receiver’s numbers. Jeudy has played with Drew Lock, Jeff Driskel, Brett Rypien, Kendall Hinton and Teddy Bridgewater. Yeah, Rodgers would have been nice.
