The Los Angeles Rams have already clinched a playoff spot, so they’re guaranteed at least one more game after Sunday’s tilt against the San Francisco 49ers. But they’re not looking ahead to the postseason. They want to beat the 49ers and win the NFC West.
The game is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET, its original time slot. The NFL opted not to flex it to the prime-time slot on Saturday or Sunday, keeping it at the same time as Cardinals-Seahawks, which also has major playoff implications for Arizona.
But Rams-49ers is the game of the week on FOX, with Troy Aikman and Joe Buck being on the call. Fortunately, it’ll be broadcast to most of the country, so only select areas won’t get the Rams game on TV.
Check the 506 Sports map below to see if you’ll get the game, which will be broadcast in the red area.
The 49ers have won five straight against the Rams, but if they don’t extend that streak to six games, they’ll be in danger of missing the playoffs. If the Rams and Saints both win, the 49ers will be eliminated from contention and New Orleans will take their place by jumping into the seventh seed.
This is a huge game for both teams and should make for a fun matchup at SoFi Stadium.
