The New England Patriots will be entering the 2023 NFL draft with the highest pick they’ve had in nearly 15 years. With the No. 14 overall draft selection, they have a chance to change their outlook for the 2023 season and beyond.
So, when are the Patriots expected to be on the clock at opening night on Thursday?
In Sunday’s weekly round-up of Patriots notes, ESPN’s Mike Reiss mentioned the length of the previous four drafts, while also noting the timeframe the Baltimore Ravens selected Kyle Hamilton at No. 14 in the 2022 NFL draft.
When taking all of those things into consideration, that should put the Patriots on the clock at around 9:45 p.m. ET, per Reiss.
Keep in mind, that time could change due to a slew of circumstances, including the possibility of the Patriots trading up or down on draft night.
