Game time is nearly upon us and the Gator Nation is getting pumped up for Florida’s matchup with the Tennessee Volunteers up on Rocky Top today.
What once represented the premier rivalry in the Southeastern Conference has been relegated to “just another game” on the schedule for Florida, but the Vols are one of those teams that can catch you when your guard is down. UF has won all but one since 2004 and is favored by 18 points to win today, per BetMGM.
Despite the dilution of importance, this is still a game that gets the respective fan bases riled up on those Saturdays when the two schools meet. Team records wax and wane, but bad blood never goes away.
