Joe Harris has already spent four years with the Nets, and he’s set to spend another four in Brooklyn — while making far more money yearly.

The Brooklyn Nets have made Joe Harris’ re-signing with the franchise official, but the team did not disclose the details of the deal — which is standard procedure.

However, multiple reports indicate Barclays Center will be Harris’ home for the next four seasons, which would double the amount of years he’s already spent in Brooklyn through the 2019-20 NBA season.

But while it was initially reported Harris signed a contract worth $75 million, Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News has since reported the last $3 million on the sharpshooter’s deal can only be made if he achieves “unlikely bonuses,” making Harris’ new deal with Nets worth $72 million in guaranteed money.

Bondy also reported the yearly breakdown of the money:

  • $16,071,429 in 2020-21
  • $17,357,143 in 2021-22
  • $18,642,857 in 2022-23
  • $19,928,571 in 2023-24

Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports reported the details of the bonuses:

“Each season contains $500,000 in bonuses linked to games played, playoff games played and team performance.”

There’s been no indication that Harris has a player option in this deal, nor the Nets a team option.
