The Cincinnati Bengals hope they have a bounceback game on their hands with the Carolina Panthers in town this weekend.
Joe Burrow and Co. had the massive flop against the Browns less than a week ago on primetime but now face a Panthers team that is 2-6 and has won a single game since the start of October.
Naturally, experts in charge of picking games side with the Bengals heavily. Of the experts polled at NFL Pick Watch, 96 percent pick the Bengals straight-up. Interestingly, that number dips all the way to 46 percent against the spread.
That, at least, shows some distrust in a Bengals team that has started 4-4 and remains winless in the AFC North. And while the Panthers might average less than 20 points per game, they have been more competitive as of late after significant changes.
The Bengals will have to do battle without key pieces Ja’Marr Chase and DJ Reader, guys the team hopes can return after the bye following the game against the Panthers.
