Experts once again really like the Cincinnati Bengals, this time as they head into a Week 11 clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Those same experts liked the Bengals before the bye over the Panthers and that was a huge blowout win.
This time, according to the polls at, NFL Pick Watch, 89 percent of the experts so far pick the Bengals. That number switches to 56 percent against what is a close spread, but that’s to be expected with the Bengals on the road.
Experts liking the Bengals this much here isn’t a great shock. The Steelers enter Week 11 off a win but have struggled for most of the year and might not have star safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.
The Bengals, on the other hand, just had a bye week and continue to get healthier while anticipating star defender DJ Reader back, among others. The offense, after some smooth adaptions by coaches, is really kicking into gear too.
With the season technically on the line (the Bengals would fall to 0-4 in the AFC North with a loss), it’s safe to presume the experts are right to bank on a desperate, improving Bengals team.
