Here’s a look at the Patriots’ new uniforms

Thoughts?

The New England Patriots made minor alterations to their color rush uniform, and turned it into their primary jersey on Monday morning. The team made the announcement on Twitter with a promotional video. It’s the first change to the primary uniform in 20 years, coincidentally bookending the Tom Brady era in New England.

When compared to the color rush alternate uniforms, the new primary jerseys have only a few small tweaks. First, there’s a different font for the numbers and the nameplate. The uniform will also feature red, white and blue color-blocked socks. Here’s a look at the new getup for the Patriots.

“As we started to think about the 2020 season and a new decade, we began to envision what we wanted our uniforms to reflect,” Jen Ferron, the chief marketing officer of Kraft Sports and Entertainment, said on Patriots.com. “The success of the ‘Color Rush’ uniform that we’ve worn for the past couple of years had us thinking that we didn’t need to make real substantive changes, rather we could make modest changes to our home uniform and then use a complementary version with those same aesthetics for our away uniform.”

So, what do you think?
