The Carolina Panthers saw former Pro Bowler Stephon Gilmore make his debut with the team at practice this week.
Gilmore, who joined the team in a trade with the New England Patriots, got to don a Panthers’ jersey for the first time. It’s surely a tough sight for Patriots fans, particularly with the team struggling to defend Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott in Week 6. He threw for 445 passing yards, the most ever recorded against a Bill Belichick defense. Surely, New England could use Gilmore back in uniform. Instead, he could play for the Panthers in Week 7 after coming off the PUP list.
“Obviously, I’d love to have him play Sunday,” Rhule said. “Will he play, will he not play? I don’t know.”

That said, Gilmore does look might sharp in the black and teal.
