The New England Patriots’ message after the 2020 NFL Draft, which was virtual during the coronavirus pandemic, was that the process went off without a hitch. The team’s decision-makers were in constant communication throughout the process, and they were able to keep contact with clubs around the NFL to pull of trades, when necessary.
The Patriots.com digital team documented the process to show how Bill Belichick and director of player personnel Nick Caserio maneuvered in the digital war room. The team’s Twitter account shared a video which shows how they handled the process. It’s an in-depth look at how the Patriots prepared for and executed their 2020 draft.
A #PatsDraft unlike any other.

I love the shot with Caserio, sitting in his war room with three kids and his littlest child is trying to make a phone call.
