When the 2021 NFL preseason schedule was initially revealed a number of dates and times were still to be decided across the league. For the Kansas City Chiefs, all dates and times have now been finalized.
At first, the only game that we had both the official date and time was the nationally televised Week 2 game against the Arizona Cardinals. Now everything is set for the Week 1 game against the San Francisco 49ers and Week 3 against the Minnesota Vikings.
You can check out the completed schedule down below:
Week | Date | Opponent | Time | Channel |
1 | Saturday, Aug.14 | at San Francisco 49ers | 7:30 p.m. CT | KSHB-TV |
2 | Friday, Aug. 20 | at Arizona Cardinals | 7:00 p.m. CT | ESPN |
3 | Friday, Aug. 27 | vs. Minnesota Vikings | 7:00 p.m. CT | KSHB-TV |
You’ll notice that there are no afternoon or noon games for the Chiefs and that includes their lone preseason appearance at Arrowhead Stadium. That shouldn’t stop fans from tailgating and enjoying themselves ahead of the game. It does, however, mean that Chiefs Kingdom will have to wait until Week 3 of the regular season before the first noon kickoff at Arrowhead Stadium.
