No. 12 Texas A&M handled business on Friday afternoon, beating Houston Christian by a large margin to earn their tenth win of the season.

The first 15 minutes of the game might have been a little frustrating to watch for Aggies fans due to A&M’s lack of intensity. They struggled to pull away from a team that had been blown out by the two previous Quad 1 teams they faced. You could feel the absence of the leadership and feel of the game Wade Taylor IV brings to the court.

Coach Buzz Williams also felt it, holding the Aggies in the locker room until it was time to play skipping warmups. Whatever he said struck a chord because they came out fast and furious in the second half.

After the game, Williams, alongside guards Hayden Hefner and Manny Obaseki, spoke to the media, collectively expressing the joy of heading into Christmas break with a win and some momentum before closing out nonconference play against Abilene Christian next Saturday afternoon.

Below are some of the best photos from the game.

Texas A&M will return home to face Abilene Christian at Reed Arena on Dec. 28 at 3:00 p.m. CST. The game can be watched on the SEC Network.
