[autotag]Hendrick Motorsports[/autotag] has a long history of success but Sunday afternoon at Texas Motor Speedway represented one of the biggest days in the organization’s history. William Byron, the driver of the No. 24 car, won his sixth race of the 2023 NASCAR season but more importantly, it was Hendrick Motorsports’ 300th victory in the Cup Series.
The organization is now the only one to crack 300 victories. It has been a crazy journey to this point but there are definitely more wins on the horizon. Following Byron’s victory, Hendrick Motorsports owner Rick Hendrick talked about breaking the barrier of 300 wins.
“It feels good to get to 300,” Hendrick said. “We’ve been thinking about it since 299. I’m proud of all the drivers that have driven at the company since we started because every one of them have participated in this 300 wins, so it’s really good to see (William Byron) get it.”

“He’s had a heck of a year. The whole organization is proud because we put these marks — we have glass on the wall that every time we have a win, we put another flag up there. It’s good to get to 300.”
Hendrick Motorsports is undoubtedly the most successful organization in NASCAR history and they are not slowing down any time soon. The current lineup of Byron, Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, and Alex Bowman is the sport’s best and has nine wins alone this season. That number is only going to grow and the rest of the field should be on the lookout for more Hendrick Motorsports success.
