The 2020 Heisman trophy winner will be announced tonight for the 83rd ceremony, the first of which that will be held virtually due to the onging pandemic.
Of the four finalists for the award, two of them are members of the Alabama Crimson Tide: quarterback Mac Jones and wide receiver DeVonta Smith.
The remaining finalists are Clemson’s quarterback and presumed first overall selection in the 2021 NFL draft, Trevor Lawrence and Florida quarterback Kyle Trask.
The latest odds, courtesy of BetMGM, had Smith and Jones leading the pack with the best odds to win the coveted award.
Odds courtesy of BetMGM, The King of Sportsbooks.
DeVonta Smith: -250
Mac Jones: +250
Trevor Lawrence: +500
Kyle Trask: +4000
If Smith or Jones wins the award, they would be the third Alabama player to win the award, as Mark Ingram won it in 2009 and Derrick Henry was the 2015 recipient.
Roll Tide Wire will publish updates as the ceremony takes place tonight.
