Every year, there’s talk about a player having their “Heisman moment”. Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker may have had his on Saturday as he threw for 385 yards and completed five touchdown passes to help the Vols lock down their first win over Alabama since 2006. That’s the kind of performance that will get everyone’s attention, and that came through in his Heisman odds jumping from +1400 in Week 6 to +600 in Week 7.
He’s still chasing Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud, however.
