Heisman finalist, Pitt QB Kenny Pickett ‘undecided’ on playing Peach Bowl game vs. Michigan State

Kenneth Walker III was snubbed out of a Heisman finalist position partially thanks to the play of Pitt quarterback and Heisman finalist Kenny Pickett. Many Michigan State fans were hoping to watch some revenge in MSU’s match-up with Pitt in the Peach Bowl, but according to Paul Pabst of the Dan Patrick Show, Pickett is currently ‘undecided’ in suiting up for the game.

On the one hand, this is surprising, only because it is likely that Pickett will throw for a million yards against an MSU secondary that is struggling. However, Pickett has done about as much as possible on the field to help his NFL draft stock this season, and he probably only has stuff to lose and nothing to gain from playing in the Peach Bowl. If he plays well, it’s expected. If he lays an egg, he could fall in the draft process.
