Heat to sign undrafted rookie Kyle Alexander to a two-way contract

The former Tennessee forward is 13th in the G League in blocks and 22nd with seven double-doubles this season with the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

The Miami Heat are reportedly planning to sign rookie Kyle Alexander of the Sioux Falls Skyforce to a two-way contract, according to Andre Fernandez of The Athletic.

Alexander joined the Heat organization over the summer after going undrafted out of the University of Tennessee. The 6-foot-10 forward appeared with the Heat during Summer League and in the preseason but was waived prior to the start of the season.

With the Skyforce, Alexander has emerged as one of the top big men in the G League. Alexander is averaging 10.6 points, nine rebounds and two blocks in 23 appearances. The rookie is 13th in the G League in blocked shots and 22nd with seven double-doubles.
