Miami Heat rookie Kendrick Nunn will not play Tuesday night against the Boston Celtics due to a sore Achilles, according to Ira Winderman of the Sun-Sentinel.
Nunn has missed the past two games for the Heat with the injury though it is unclear when he initially began experiencing discomfort. The Heat started Tyler Herro in place of Nunn on Friday against the Los Angeles Clippers and on Monday against the Orlando Magic.
Prior to the injury, Nunn had played well as of late for the Heat. Over his last five games, Nunn was averaging 22.4 points on 51.7% shooting (15-of-29) from 3-point range. That stretch includes a 33-point performance on Jan. 15 against the San Antonio Spurs.

The game between the Heat and Celtics will tip-off at 8 p.m. ET.
