Well, it looks like story details for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are floating around online already – so consider this your unofficial spoiler warning.
Don’t worry – we will not be going into the details here. However, GLHF was able to verify that Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has leaked onto social media, Reddit, and Resetera. Most of it appears genuine, and as with any potential leak – it’s best to assume everything is real to avoid spoilers.
If you’re keen on staying spoiler-free, it might be best to avoid Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom online discussions entirely. That means muting the proper keywords like “Zelda” on social media, too – if that wasn’t obvious enough. Don’t bother looking at the comments section of any trailers, either. Remember, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom comes out on May 12, 2023 – so there are still 10 days left until launch as of the time of this post.
It’s unfortunate but somewhat expected for major video game releases to leak shortly before launch. Last week, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor spoilers were everywhere before release.
So if you want to bide some time, check out our write-ups on where to play every Zelda game and timeline explanation.
