Atlanta Hawks rookie Seth Lundy pulled up to watch No. 7 Penn State host No. 24 Iowa in front of an announced crowd of 110,830 at Beaver Stadium on Saturday in University Park.
Lundy played four years with the Nittany Lions before declaring for the NBA draft this year. He became the 39th player in program history to score 1,000 career points (1,282) and left ranked sixth in career 3s (229), ninth in free-throw percentage (81.4) and 20th in points.
He was treated to a dominating performance by the home team as the Nittany Lions shut out the Hawkeyes, 31-0, in front of their second-largest crowd in history. Quarterback Drew Allar threw for 166 yards and four touchdowns as Penn State stayed unbeaten (4-0, 2-0).

Lundy, the 46th pick, signed a two-way contract with the Hawks in July. He debuted with the team in the NBA Summer League, averaging 8.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.4 blocks on 32.4% shooting from 3-point range in five appearances.
The Hawks open the preseason on Oct. 10 versus Cleveland.
