Hawks rookie wing Cam Reddish hits career-high against Nets

Atlanta Hawks rookie Cam Reddish, the 10th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, has shown steady improvement throughout the season.

Atlanta Hawks rookie wing Cam Reddish has finally caught his stride and, already showing himself to be a strong defender, has managed to be a consistent offensive force as of late against well.

Averaging 13.5 points per game (on 43.8% shooting from the field and 37.0% from 3-point range) over his last 15 games heading into Friday’s contest against the Brooklyn Nets and 13 games with at least 10 points in that stretch, Reddish had his best scoring night of his career with the Nets in town.

Reddish finished the game with a career-high 26 points (his previous career-high of 25 points was set on December 4) in 34 minutes, also tallying four rebounds, one steal and one block. 17 points came in the third quarter.

He was efficient as well, shooting 9-14 from the field and 6-9 from 3-point range for the game. His six made 3-point shots was also a career-high.

The Duke product, who was selected with the 10th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, has a chance to be a core player for the upstart Hawks if he continues on this pace. His season is quickly turning around and he can enter the offseason brimming with confidence should he manage to keep up his recent play.
