Haskins says Terry McLaurin is in the best shape he’s ever seen

The old college teammates know each other well, and Haskins says McLaurin is looking the best he’s ever seen so far this offseason.

If there’s any player in the NFL who knows the in’s and out’s of Washington Redskins wide receiver Terry McLaurin’s game, it’s probably Dwayne Haskins, who has been his quarterback since McLaurin’s freshman year of college back at Ohio State.

If you were to ask Haskins how McLaurin looks in the offseason of 2020, after having a stellar rookie year in the NFL, his QB would have some high praises to sing.

“This is the best I’ve seen Terry,” Haskins said to media members on Tuesday. The QB has worked with his trio of receivers — McLaurin, Kelvin Harmon, and Steven Sims — a decent amount this offseason, and he’s gotten an up-close view of how they are all progressing. We’re going to choose to take Haskins’ word for it and assume that McLaurin will be in peak form this season, which must be something spectacular considering how good he was last season.
