Has Georgia found its QB of the future? Gunner Stockton signs with UGA

Stockton is a Dawg. Let’s get it.

4-star quarterback Gunner Stockton officially signed his national letter of intent to play for the Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday morning.

Stockton has been committed to Georgia since January. 247Sports has Stockton as a four-star prospect and ranks him as the No. 67 overall player and No. 7 ranked quarterback.

In October, Stockton broke Deshaun Watson’s Georgia high school record for most career touchdowns (combined rushing and passing).

Stockton also broke another record held by a college football legend this past season. The Rabun County dual-threat quarterback broke Trevor Lawrence’s state record for most career passing touchdowns.

The 6-foot-1, 195 pounder has put up some ridiculous numbers, including a seven touchdown game in a win over Pace Academy this past season. He had six passing and one rushing touchdown in that win. He passed for 382 yards and added another 105 on the ground.
