[autotag]Hailie Deegan[/autotag]’s partnership with [autotag]AM Racing[/autotag] has come to an end. On Monday morning, the two sides announced they have parted ways during the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, effective immediately. AM Racing replaced Deegan with Joey Logano during the Xfinity Series race at the Chicago Street Course, which resulted in an eighth-place finish.
Deegan has really struggled in the No. 15 Xfinity car. In 2024, she had a best finish of 12th place at Talladega Superspeedway, with five straight finishes of 25th place or worse. Entering Chicago, the 22-year-old driver sat 27th in the point standings, the worst of any driver who had made every start throughout the 2024 NASCAR season at that point.
Now, the Xfinity Series organization will look for its next driver as it moves forward without her in its plans. As for Deegan, her plans are uncertain but she does hope to be back at the race track “soon.” Deegan and AM Racing’s partnership only lasted 17 Xfinity Series races before changes were made heading into Chicago last weekend.
