The Steelers should bring in Cam Newton @TheHerd pic.twitter.com/s4n4yyCjMp

Every time there is a veteran quarterback looking for work, the media pounces on the story and tries to push the narrative toward the Pittsburgh Steelers. First it was Jameis Winston, then briefly Andy Dalton. Now with both of them off the market the media has now circled back around to Cam Newton.
This must stop.
Joy Taylor and Colin Cowherd discussed the idea on The Herd and Taylor was adamant that if Newton is going to sign somewhere, it needs to the with the Steelers.
I’m sure there is a huge percentage of the fanbase who would love to see the Steelers add a veteran backup quarterback. But the front office has said over and over this offseason, Mason Rudolph is the backup quarterback and they don’t plan to disrupt the depth chart.
But I’ll ask Steeler Nation. Are you tired of hearing about the Steelers signing a veteran quarterback or do you consider it a necessity?
