Guard Seth Curry out for Sixers vs. Rockets due to left ankle soreness

The Philadelphia 76ers will be without Seth Curry as they take on the Houston Rockets on the road.

The Philadelphia 76ers hit the road again on Monday to take on the Houston Rockets as they look to extend their 6-game win streak, but they will do so while still being a little shorthanded in the backcourt.

The Sixers were already heading into this matchup while missing Tyrese Maxey due to the health protocols and Shake Milton due to a lower back contusion, but they will also be missing Seth Curry due to left ankle soreness.

Curry, who has been a big help lately in terms of rebounding the basketball, looked like he injured the ankle in Friday’s win over the San Antonio Spurs when he crashed into a row of fans while going after the basketball.

The Sixers knocked off the Rockets back on Jan. 3 and they will be looking to sweep the season series while relying more on Furkan Korkmaz to run the offense. Philadelphia will also likely turn to Danny Green to start in place of Curry.
