On Monday, the WNBA announced the complete 22-game schedule for each of the 12 teams set to kick off the 2020 season at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

The WNBA will tip-off July 25 with back-to-back days of national triple-header telecasts across ABC, ESPN and the CBS Sports Network. The schedule is highlighted by 24 national telecasts across ABC, ESPN and ESPN2.

Memphis Grizzlies rookie Ja Morant, and noted fan of the WNBA, expressed his excitement for the start of the season and the number of nationally-televised games set to air on the ESPN family of networks. Morant has often shown love on social media to the women in the WNBA.

The opening weekend of the WNBA season at the IMG Academy will be dedicated to the Black Lives Matter movement as all aspects of the game and player outfitting will be designed to honor victims of police brutality and racial violence.

Team uniforms will display Breonna Taylor’s name as players raise awareness and seek justice for the women and girls who have been the forgotten victims of police brutality and racial violence. Players will individually have the option to continue to wear the placard with Taylor’s name for subsequent games.

Additionally, throughout the season, players will wear warm-up shirts that display “Black Lives Matter” on the front and “Say Her Name” on the back. “Black Lives Matter” will also be prominently displayed on courts during games.
