Tennessee defensive lineman Greg Emerson announced Saturday he has entered the NCAA transfer portal.
The 6-foot-3, 300-pound defensive lineman appeared in 22 games for the Vols since 2018. He started in nine contests.

Emerson totaled 31 tackles, four tackles for a loss, two sacks and two pass deflections while playing for the Vols.
He is from North Side High School in Jackson, Tennessee.
Emerson played in one game during the 2018 season, 13 in 2019 and eight contests in a Southeastern Conference-only schedule last season.
Tennessee will kick off the 2021 season on Sept. 21 against Bowling Green at Neyland Stadium. Josh Heupel was hired as Tennessee’s head coach on Jan. 27.
