Greg Biffle provides a big update on his plans for the 2025 Daytona 500. Will Biffle attempt to make the Great American Race in 2025?

[autotag]Greg Biffle[/autotag] hasn’t competed full-time in NASCAR since the 2016 season, but it doesn’t mean he wants to stay away from the sport. In 2022, Biffle competed in five NASCAR Cup Series races, including the Daytona 500, with NY Racing Team. While the former full-time NASCAR driver hasn’t run a race in two years, he still wants to compete in the sport.

Recently, Biffle joined Let’s Go Racing with David Starr for an interview and talked about his plans for the 2025 season. As of now, Biffle doesn’t have a ride for the 2025 Daytona 500, but he definitely wants another opportunity in the Great American Race.

“I don’t have anything in the works right now, so I would say Daytona in February is probably slim,” Biffle said. “I definitely will be there. I love that time of the year and Daytona, so I’ll be down there wandering around, but as far as being behind the wheel, it’s probably unlikely [in 2025]. I want to put something together and run another [Daytona 500] in a good, competitive car. So I need to get off my butt and start working on it and find a good car to drive.”

Several teams run an extra part-time entry in the Daytona 500, so could Biffle find an organization, such as 23XI Racing or RFK Racing, to field a fourth car? The former Roush Fenway Racing driver wants another opportunity to compete in good equipment, so either organization would fit the criteria. Hopefully, Biffle can find something so he can race at least one more time.
