The Packers are currently +1400 to win the Super Bowl, which is tied for sixth with the New Orleans Saints. Those odds are much more favorable than where they were in August, when the Packers were +2500 to win it all. It’s hard not to like the Packers, given the weakness in the NFC North this season, as well as the play of QB Aaron Rodgers.

Green Bay’s defense, particularly against the run, has been weak this season, allowing the fifth-highest yards per carry average. The offense is one of the best in the league, however, ranking third in scoring and ninth in yards. Rodgers has 20 touchdown passes to only two interceptions, with Green Bay committing just three turnovers all year.

Packers division betting odds

  • Green Bay Packers -358
  • Chicago Bears +350
  • Detroit Lions +1800
  • Minnesota Vikings +3500

The Packers lead the NFC North by only half a game over the Bears, but they’ve looked like the far better team. Chicago has gotten poor play at quarterback, and even with as well as the defense is playing, it’s hard to overcome a stagnant offense on a weekly basis. The Packers will face the Bears twice in the last six weeks of the season.

Packers futures picks and predictions

As long as Rodgers stays healthy, the Packers will be in the mix in the NFC. They’re simply too talented to crumble in the second half, boasting a great offense and a defense that has talent but struggles with tackling.

YES, the Packers are worth a bet to win the Super Bowl. The NFC postseason picture will be tight, with several legitimate contenders in the conference, but Green Bay can play with anyone. And given the value at +1400, the Packers are certainly a good wager to be the last team standing in February.
