The Packers picked Georgia DL Devonte Wyatt with the 28th overall pick in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft.

The Green Bay Packers selected Georgia defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt with the 28th overall pick in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft.

Wyatt, who turned 24 years old in March, played in 49 games with 25 starts for Georgia. He produced 113 tackles, 12.0 tackles for losses, 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and three pass breakups.

Dane Brugler of The Athletic ranked Wyatt as the No. 1 defensive lineman in the draft class.

Wyatt (6-2, 304) visited the Packers before the draft. He has outstanding athleticism for his size and penetrating ability. At the combine, he completed the 40-yard dash in 4.77 seconds, with a 1.60-second 10-yard split. His Relative Athletic Score is 9.56 out of 10.

Wyatt joins teammate Quay Walker as first-round picks for the Packers in the 2022 draft.
