The NFL released the full regular-season schedule for the Green Bay Packers and the 31 other teams on Thursday night.

The Packers will open the 17-game 2023 season on the road against the Chicago Bears and finish it at home in Green Bay against the Bears.

– The Packers will play eight games at home and nine games on the road.

– The Packers start on the road again, this time in Chicago. In fact, the Jordan Love era will begin with back-to-back road games (at Chicago, at Atlanta). The home opener comes in Week 3 against the Saints.

– The Packers have an early bye this year. It arrives in Week 6 after back-to-back primetime games.

– The Packers get five primetime games on the initial schedule. The final three are subject to flex scheduling.

– The Packers will go to Detroit to play the Lions on Thanksgiving, to Carolina to play the Panthers on Christmas Eve and to Minnesota to play the Vikings on New Year’s Eve night.

– The Packers’ longest road trip is just two games. The longest homestand is just two games. Between Weeks 5-7, the Packers have two road games and the bye. Between Weeks 14-17, the Packers play three road games in three weeks. Travel is minimal and there are no difficult back-to-back road games in terms of distance.
