The Cleveland Browns started the game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a 24 – 10 lead in the first half. The offense has played well when they had the ball but the defense played huge. Denzel Ward had an interception return for a touchdown, John Johnson III forced a fumble and they forced a turnover on downs.
Unfortunately, the defense lost Greedy Williams in the first half. He was listed as questionable to return with a shoulder injury when he walked to the locker room.
At the end of halftime, the team announced that Williams would not return to the game due to a shoulder injury. The former LSU cornerback missed all of the 2020 season with a shoulder/neck injury which increases concern with him being out with a shoulder injury Sunday.
Update according to the CBS broadcast is that it is the same shoulder:
CBS' @tracywolfson reporting Greedy Williams reinjured the same shoulder that kept him out last year.

The Browns got Ward back this week, giving the team their top four corners. With Williams out, AJ Green will step into his role.
