ORLANDO — The 2020 NBA Eastern Conference Finals started on a sour note for the Boston Celtics.
The third-seeded Celtics fell to the Miami Heat, 117-114, in an overtime tilt Tuesday night at HP Field House in the Central Florida bubble.
Former University of Tennessee basketball player Grant Williams, played sparingly, logging 10 minutes and scoring three points.
Williams, a power forward for Boston, left Rocky Top after his junior season in 2019 as the two-time Southeastern Conference Player of the Year.
A short time later, Williams was a first-round draft pick by the Celtics, going with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft.
