The Boston Celtics lost their second consecutive game Sunday when they dropped a 108-107 decision to the Pacers at Bankers Life Field House in Indianapolis.
In the game, former University of Tennessee basketball player Grant Williams scored six points for Boston (1-2), which won its season opener against the Milwaukee Bucks at home before dropping a 123-95 decision to the Brooklyn Nets at TD Garden on Christmas Day.
Williams played 23 minutes against the Pacers Sunday. He also had four rebounds.
The former Vol was a first-round pick in the 2019 NBA draft, going to the Celtics with the 22nd overall selection.
He left UT after his junior season as the two-time Southeastern Conference Player of the Year.
