Grant Williams may have found a second calling after basketball

The Celtics rookie recently attended some swimming lessons with a couple of Olympians in Massachusetts.

Grant Williams may already be onto the next sport.

The Boston Celtics rookie learned how to swim on Sunday as Olympians Cullen Jones and Elizabeth Beisel showed him the ropes in the water for the first time.

Williams said afterward that swimming can be beneficial for those trying to work out as it exercises nearly every muscle in the body and it is a fun activity to do.

Of course, Williams is comfortable playing basketball with the Celtics but the rookie certainly had fun on Sunday swimming with some well-established individuals as they passed on their knowledge over to him.

Williams has become a fan favorite among Celtics fans given his outgoing personality and skillset on the floor. He is often comfortable doing the dirty work on the court and that has resulted in earning just his second start of the season on Saturday against the Phoenix Suns.

The Celtics play next Monday against the Los Angeles Lakers.
