To prepare to stop Derrick Henry, the Cleveland Browns, like many other NFL teams, are searching for answers as they get set to take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8. Instead, Browns safety Grant Delpit had a brilliant idea on how the scout team could provide the Cleveland Browns defense with a more realistic test: putting Dawand Jones as scout team running back.
When asked about how to prepare for star Ravens running back Derrick Henry, Delpit jokingly answered, “We’re just going to put Dawand back there and have him give us a couple of looks.”

Running back Derrick Henry is recognized for his unique size and dominance in his position, which makes him incredibly difficult to tackle. Delpit’s joke demonstrates that the Browns are doing all possible to prepare, but there is no real method to stop Derrick Henry in the open field.
He has been the best running back in the NFL this year for a reason. We’ll see if the Browns can be one of the first teams to stop him on Sunday.
