The Iowa Hawkeyes knocked off another in-state recruiting victory. In a class that’s been littered with homegrown talent, Iowa ensured that Graham Eben made the black and gold call as well.
One of the stars from Central Lyon/George-Little Rock state championship-winning team this past fall, Graham Eben announced his commitment to the Hawkeyes today. Combined with Devan Kennedy’s announcement earlier today, Eben’s pledge makes it a double-commitment day for the Hawkeyes.
The 6-foot-1, 195 pound prospect finished this past season with 1,337 rushing yards offensively and 37 tackles and four interceptions defensively. Listed as a safety by 247Sports, On3 and Rivals, Hawkeye Insider‘s Sean Bock believes Eben will grow into a linebacker for the Hawkeyes.

Per On3, Eben is a three-star recruit, the nation’s No. 132 safety and the No. 17 player from Iowa. Meanwhile, 247Sports ranks Eben as a two-star commit, the No. 171 safety and as the No. 22 player from Iowa. Eben joins fellow Hawkeye State pledges Cody Fox, Derek Weisskopf, Cam Buffington, Drew Campbell, Brevin Doll, and Preston Ries.
Eben chose Iowa over offers from South Dakota, Eastern Michigan, Lindenwood, North Dakota State, Northern Iowa and South Dakota State.
