Graham Barton set to make NFL debut against Washington Commanders

The 2024 NFL schedule got released on Wednesday, and Duke first-round pick Graham Barton found out his first 17 opponents.

Former Duke offensive lineman Graham Barton, the first-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2024 NFL draft, will play his first NFL game against the Washington Commanders.

The 2024 NFL schedule was released on Wednesday night, and Barton learned his first 17 matchups in an NFL uniform.

His first battle against 2023 Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels and the Commanders at 4:25 p.m. Eastern time on September 8. The game will be broadcast on FOX.

Barton spent the last four years in Durham, playing center as a freshman before moving to left tackle for his last three years of college ball. The Buccaneers, who won the NFC South division in each of the last three seasons, said they intend to move him back to his freshman position.

Duke fans already got a look at Barton in an NFL uniform last weekend when Tampa Bay’s rookie minicamp began.
