It was quite a roller-coaster of a Monday for golf fans.
On what was supposed to be the first day of Masters week, die-hards were mourning the fact that it was supposed to be the start of the lead-up to the 2020 edition of the golf major at Augusta, which had instead been postponed.
Then came news later in the morning (not long after the 2020 British Open was canceled): the 2020 Masters was rescheduled for Nov. 9-15.
Imagine that — the Masters in the fall! Right around Thanksgiving!
