The Golden State Warriors (43-38) and Portland Trail Blazers (33-48) meet Sunday to finish off their regular-season schedules. Tip-off from Moda Center is set for 3:30 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Warriors vs. Trail Blazers odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.
Season series: Golden State leads 2-1
Golden State covered as a 10.5-point road favorite in a 119-97 win at the Sacramento Kings Friday. The Warriors have won back-to-back games, 4 of their last 5 and 7 of their last 9 as they hope to climb into the 5th seed in the West. The Warriors need a win and a Los Angeles Clippers loss (at the Phoenix Sunday Sunday) to clinch the 5 seed. They could fall as far down as the 8 seed if things don’t go their way.
Portland covered as a 17-point road underdog in a 136-125 loss Saturday at the Clippers. Portland has lost 8 of its last 9, including a current 3-game slide. The Blazers have been eliminated from playoff contention and shut down star G Damian Lillard (a team-best 32.2 points per game) for the season a few weeks ago.

Warriors at Trail Blazers picks and predictions
Prediction
Warriors 110, Trail Blazers 98
Moneyline
AVOID.
A line as one-sided as this one (-1600) makes me think that the oddsmakers believe that the Warriors will play their best players, including Curry. The Warriors need this win — and a Clippers loss — if they want to claim the 5th seed. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if they sat some starters and accepted the 6th seed. AVOID a play here. It’s far too risky.
Against the spread
LEAN TRAIL BLAZERS +16.5 (-110).
The Warriors are a terrible road team — with a 17-23 road record — and while this should be an easy win for the Warriors, especially if they play their starters, the Blazers are the safer bet to cover the spread.
The Warriors are only 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Sunday games, but they did cover as heavy favorites in Sacramento Friday.
Over/Under
While the O/U is off the board, I suggest to BET 1.3 UNITS on any UNDER of 214 or higher.
The Under is 5-1-1 in the last 7 meetings between these 2 teams.
For Golden State, the Under is 5-2 in its last 7 and 4-0-1 in its last 5 Sunday games. For Portland, the Under is 12-4 in its last 16 Sunday games and 4-0 in its last 4 on the back-end of a back-to-back.
