On your adventure with Kratos and Atreus, you’ll quickly enter the Aurvangar Wetlands in search of the Ormr. Once you’ve got it, all that’s left is leaving, but that isn’t as straightforward as it may first seem. The puzzle blocking your path can be a bit tricky, so we’ll show you the solution that’ll get you moving in no time.

First thing first, look for a counterweight hanging down. It will be hung by a series of chains held together by a connector. Throw your ax at that connector and you’ll be able to hop over and interact with a chain pulley system which will bring down a portion of the gate.
Next, get onto the wooden walkway to your left where there’s another pulley that you need to use. Then turn to the nearby geyser and freeze it with your ax, allowing you to follow the path round to the left, where you’ll be thrown into a combat encounter.
Once they’re out of the way, you need to get your chain blades and use them to pull the cap off of a second geyser. Freezing this one has no effect, but you’ll find that freezing the first geyser will increase the pressure in the second one, allowing it to reach the water wheel and lowering the counterweight.
When you see it appear, throw your ax at the connector on this counterweight, letting it drop on top of the first geyser. Now, if you get on top of the counterweight and freeze the second geyser once more the pressure on the first one will be enough to push you up like an elevator.
On the higher level, you’ll find a chest containing Forged Iron, a Kvasire Poem, and the final chain you need to pull to solve the puzzle.
