The Tennessee Titans will again try to grab that first win of 2024 when they take on the Miami Dolphins on Monday night.
That, of course, provides those of us here at Titans Wire the opportunity to hypothetically steal from the Dolphins’ roster in search of depth and/or talent upgrades.
When the schedule came out, this looked to be one of the easier weeks to do that. Now, it is a touch challenging. The 2024 season has already had moments that have altered the NFL landscape.
Originally, this selection would have likely been quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. When healthy, he would have been a clear and complete upgrade over Will Levis. Unfortunately, he suffered another concussion in Week 2 and is on injured reserve (IR) with his career in question.
Now, in looking over the Dolphins’ roster, there are plenty of options available. However, one player stands far above the rest: wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
After watching the Titans’ first three weeks, they have lacked consistency from the wide receiver position. Calvin Ridley has been the most consistent, but that is still sporadic. DeAndre Hopkins was invisible until Week 3, and Tyler Boyd and Treylon Burks were even worse.
With Hill, the Titans would add one of the most consistent and dynamic playmakers in the game, who at the moment is stuck with sub-par quarterback play and his numbers have fallen off for 2024.
Coming off back-to-back seasons with 119 receptions and over 1,700 yards receiving, the Titans would add a game-changer to their receiving corps and a player who could replace Hopkins as the team’s top target.
With his elite speed, Hill has the ability to thrive even with the coverage rolled his way. Which, in turn, would open up the rest of the receiving corps in the passing game.
What are your thoughts, Titans fans? Would you pick Tyreek Hill or steal an entirely different player from the Miami Dolphins?
