One of the most beloved players in San Francisco Giants history is officially back with the organization, and fans are so happy to have him back.
Third baseman Pablo Sandoval, who won three titles with the Giants during his seven seasons with the franchise, signed a minor-league deal with the team this offseason to make his grand Giants return after a few years out of the MLB.
As he entered the game for San Francisco in the sixth inning of the team’s spring training game against the Oakland A’s on Tuesday, he got a roaring ovation from the crowd and his teammates.
It’s one that seemingly left Sandoval a bit emotional as the crowd gave him such a warm welcome back to the franchise where he forged his legend.

We’re sure San Francisco will get Sandoval up to the majors at some point this season, as he’s clearly a fan favorite.
For Sandoval, this has to be such a cool moment to see everything in his baseball career come full circle in such heartwarming fashion.
