Tom Brady is officially retiring from the NFL. For real this time. There’s no “reportedly” couching this one. It’s coming straight from the source.
Brady says he’s done with football. And, with that news, most fanbases and teams from around the NFL are rejoicing. This dude is not around to terrorize their team anymore.
But, again, that’s for most teams. Not all teams.
For the Giants and Eagles fans? This is a day of triumph. Tom Brady is gone and their two teams are responsible for his three losses in the Super Bowl. And they’ll always have that over Brady fans and Patriots fans.
These two headlines from local news networks in the region captured that perfectly.
First, we’ve got FOX Philly who said Brady was known for “dropping a pass in Super Bowl LII and failing to shake Nick Foles’ hand.” Perfect.

Then we’ve got NBC4 New York announcing Brady’s retirement by leading with the fact that he lost two Super Bowls to the Giants. Also perfect.

Just incredibly petty — yet, accurate! — statements. This is too funny. Fans absolutely ate these up.
