The hits keep coming on Tuesday, and for former Michigan basketball star Moe Wagner, literally so.
As the Washington Wizards take on the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA bubble, Bucks star Giannis Antetokoumpo apparently took exception to a box out by the German fan favorite, and let him know about it in exacting terms.
Early in the second quarter, Antetokoumpo, with the ball in had, charged into Wagner foul-wise, and after he was called, the “Greek Freak” approached the outspoken former Wolverine and head butted him.
Antetokoumpo was ejected for a Flagrant Two foul. Wagner has four points midway through the 3rd quarter. Former teammate D.J. Wilson, playing with the Bucks, has seven, with both coming off the bench.
